SwiftKVM Privacy Policy

A native macOS client for KVM-over-IP devices

Overview

SwiftKVM is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third parties.

Network Connections

SwiftKVM connects directly to KVM-over-IP devices that you specify. All connections are made over TLS (port 443) between your Mac and your KVM device. No data passes through any intermediary servers. The developer has no access to your connections, devices, or network traffic.

Credentials

Connection credentials (username and password) that you choose to save are stored locally in the macOS Keychain, which is encrypted and protected by the operating system. Connection profile names and hostnames are stored in the app's local preferences. No credentials or connection details are ever transmitted to the developer or any third party.

Data Collection

SwiftKVM does not collect:

Third-Party Services

SwiftKVM does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app contains no SDKs or frameworks that collect user data.

Data Storage

All data remains on your device:

Children's Privacy

SwiftKVM is a professional utility and is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL. Since SwiftKVM does not collect any data, material changes are unlikely.
